After this they are sun-dried and this natural drying process helps retain the aroma and the spiciness of the red chilli. The stem from the red chilli is removed before it is powdered in the hygienic factory premises to make red chilli powder. The whole dried red chillies are powdered along with the skin to ensure spiciness to the chilli powder.

NATURAL RED COLOUR: We use Kashmiri chilli also to add that enticing and vibrant natural red colour to our Lal Mirchi powder. The Kashmiri Mirch adds a glowing red colour to the chilli powder, without imparting too much heat to the Lal Mirch powder. We do not add artificial colours or chemicals to the red chilli powder.
