FAQ
Where is OrganicBite Saffron sourced from?
A. Our saffron is carefully sourced from premium saffron-growing regions known for producing the finest quality saffron with deep colour, strong aroma, and high crocin content.
How do I know if saffron is pure and not adulterated?
A. Pure saffron strands are deep red with slightly orange tips. To test purity, place a few strands in warm water — pure saffron slowly releases a golden yellow colour over several minutes. Fake saffron releases colour immediately or turns the water red.
How many strands should I use per day?
A. 3 to 5 strands per day is sufficient for health benefits. Saffron is extremely potent — a little goes a very long way.
How should I consume it?
A. Soak 3 to 5 strands in 2 tablespoons of warm water or milk for 10 to 15 minutes, then add to milk, tea, kheer, biryani, or any dish. You can also drink it directly as saffron milk (Kesar Doodh) with jaggery or honey.
Is Kesar milk good for pregnancy?
A. Traditionally, saffron milk is consumed during pregnancy for mood support, digestion, and foetal wellbeing. However, excessive consumption should be avoided. Always consult your doctor before use during pregnancy.
